I had the opportunity to visit Star City Boxing, a non-profit boxing gym in Reading, Pennsylvania. I had heard of the great work they were doing not just for the youth, but in the community as a whole. I really wanted to take a visit and also get my feet wet in sports photography, as it is a style I had never tried before.

Star City Boxing has two floors and two boxing rings, many boxing bags ranging in sizes and weight, and a ton of exercise equipment for agility, strength, cardio, and more.

It was really dope to see the youth just have a space where they can not only work on their fitness, but also a place where they can escape and have a great time. The gym is really impressive and I recommend anyone who is interested in boxing or has a kid that is, to visit the gym and see for yourself!
